Ruby Mae Holland of Genoa

Ruby Mae Holland, 91, of Genoa, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne with Elder Jesse Stiltner officiating. Burial will follow in the Endicott Cemetery, Genoa. She was born on May 7, 1921 to the late Jarrett Parsons and Armilda Thompson Parsons. Ruby was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Holland; a daughter Ethel Holland, four sisters Lutie Davis, Gladys Robertson, Emma Drummond and Anna Rickman, three brothers S.J., Herbert and Clarence Parsons. Surviving are her daughters, Ruth Moore of Louisa, KY, Pearl Mathis (Clarence) and Wilma Cox all of Wayne, WV, Helen Stickles of Columbus, Ohio, Louise Keller of Newport, Tennessee, Lucille Jackson (James), Christina Stroud (Paul), Carolyn Christian all of Genoa, WV, sons Glen Roy Holland (Jeanette) and Donald Ray Holland (Patricia) all of Ashville, NC, Guff William (Betty) Holland of Ashboro, NC, Robbie Holland (Ruby), George Holland, Jr. (Ernestine) and Timothy Holland all of Genoa, WV, two sisters Zea Nolan of Genoa, WV and Irene Rowe of Huntington, WV and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
