Allie Lee Miller
Allie Lee Miller, born March 28, 1936. Passed away January 7, 2013, at the age of 76-years 9-months and 10-days old. She was the daughter of the late Milton and Drusilla Watts Vance and was also preceded in death by her husband Hobert Miller, two grandsons Joshua Wayne Miller and David James Miller. She was a member of Four Mile United Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Allie is survived by three sons, Faron (Kathy) Miller of East Lynn, W.Va., Danny (Bonnie) Miller of Salt Rock, W.Va., and Jesse (Kelly) Miller of Sweetland, W.Va.; three daughters, Cammie (Rodney) Courts of Hamlin, W.Va., Pam (Steve) Mills of Salt Rock, W.Va., and Julie Miller (George) of Tazwell, Va.; four brothers, Bill Vance of Harts, W.Va., Fisher (Nina) Vance of Branchland, W.Va., Watt Vance of Branchland, W.Va., and John Vance of Hamlin, W.Va.; three sisters, Helen Meade of Harts, W.Va., Lilly Miller of Branchland, W.Va., and Julia Kay Hicks of Harts, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, W.Va., with Rev. Michael Brumfield and Elder Fisher Vance officiating. Interment followed at Hobert Miller Cemetery, Camp Branch Road, Sweetland, W.Va. Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, W.Va.
