Dale Lykins II of Sedona, AZ formerly of Kenova

Dale Lykins, II, 27, of Sedona, AZ formerly of Kenova, WV went to sleep in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at his home. He was born February 23, 1983 in Huntington, WV the beloved son of LaDonna Hay Beckett of Kenova, WV and David Dale Lykins of Cornville, AZ. He was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and attended Ashland Community College. David Dale had a passion for cooking and was working David in the restaurant industry in Arizona. He loved sports especially basketball. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his maternal Pa Paw, Kenny Hay. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Mikah Beckett of Kenova; his maternal Grams, Linda Hay of Kenova; a special uncle, Kenny Lee Hay of Huntington; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Bonnie Lykins of Florida; his fiancée, Rachel and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with his uncle, Bob Massie officiating. Burial will follow in Dock’s Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the funeral home.
