Iris Rose Dan Irvin formerly of Wayne County
Iris Rose Dean Irvin, 75, of Richfield, Oh., formerly of Wayne County, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Pine Valley Care Center. She was born November 14, 1936 in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late Millard and Louedith Dean. Her husband, Billy Irvin also preceded her in death along with infant daughter, Debra Lynn Dean, and one brother Gordon Hiram Dean. Iris was a member of the Baptist Church at Northfield, Ohio Survivors include one daughter, Laura Soverns of Fla.; one son, Claude Lee Irvin of Akron, Oh.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving is six sisters, Phyllis Ferrell of Elizabethtown, Pa., Myrtle Maynard of Kiahsville, W.Va., B. Elaine Frost of Wheelersburg, Oh., Millie Ferrell and her husband Steve of McMinnville, Tenn., Sandra Kay Wriston and Kathryne Rosen, both of Ravenna, Oh.; three brothers, Millard Fullen Dean Jr., and his wife Dianna of Frankfort, Ky., James D. Dean and wife Kathy of Wayne, W.Va., and Randy Dean and his wife Barbara of Huntington; and lifelong best friend, Pat Minsey of Cleveland, Oh.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Brother Earl Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
