Ricky "Slick Rick" Crabree of Louisa, Ky.
Ricky “Slick Rick” Crabtree, 50, of Louisa, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He was born July 14, 1960 at Louisa, Ky., a son of the late Herbert Crabtree and Lois Thompson Crabtree. His brother Dale Crabtree also preceded him in death. Ricky was a truck driver and boss in the coal industry and a member of the Rush Branch Church. He leaves behind the love of his life, Diane Crabtree; and son, Chad Crabtree of Louisa; three sisters Betty Adkins and Bobby of Louisa, Diane Adkins and Randy, and Edna Wilson and husband Don, all of Genoa, W.Va.; four brothers, Herman Crabtree and Cathy of Ft. Gay, W.Va., Roy Crabtree of Genoa, Jimmy Crabtree of Wayne, W.Va., and Tommy Crabtree and Becky of Huntington, W.Va.; two sisters-in-law, Donna Napier and Gilbert and Joann Robertson and husband Marvin all of Genoa; brother-in-law Richard Milum and wife Melissa of Wayne; special niece and nephews Chelsea Napier, Brandon Napier, both of Genoa, Dale Crabtree and wife Tara and “Bub” Adkins and wife Amy, all of Louisa; and a host of friends and family. Ricky was devoted to his family, and a caring friend to all who knew him, he will never be forgotten. He will be loved by many and missed by all. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Tommy Kitts and Robert Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery, Genoa. Donations may be made to the Ricky Crabtree Trust Account at Community Trust Bank in Ft. Gay.
