Evelyn Pygman Mills of Barboursville formerly of Kenova
Evelyn Pygman Mills, 86, of Barboursville, WV, formerly of Kenova, died Monday, March 21, 2011 at Wyngate Senior Living Community. She was born July 14, 1924 a daughter of the late Rex Pygman and Lilliam Conner McCormick. Evelyn worked for many years as a receptionist for Dr. Schnitt. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kenova. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton “M.J.” Mills, Jr. she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline and David Carper of Hartville, OH and Jane Ellen and Ray Smith of Scott Depot, WV; five grandchildren, David and Jodie Carper of Willmore, KY, Leigh and Terry Gang of Uniontowne, OH, Matthew and Rachel Carper of Minneapolis, MN, Julie and Phil Wilcox of New York City, NY and Sarah and Lyes Sam of London, England; seven great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Hannah Carper, Tyler and Olivia Gang, Maisie and Theodore Carper and Jameson Burke Wilcox; and one brother, Frank Pygman. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Kenova with Rev. Steve Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
