Maria A. Robinett of Winfield, WV
Maria A. Robinett, 64, of Winfield, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. Maria was born in Panama City, Panama, on January 22, 1946, and was a daughter of the late Juan Rojas Moreno and Rosalia Andrade. She had a strong faith and was a faithful member of the Nitro Church of God. She enjoyed singing, and also loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald R. Robinett Jr.; three brothers, Carlos Caballini, Banilo Caballini, and Melvin Caballini, all of Panama; and two sisters, Mirma Caballini, and Deariola Caballini, both of Panama. She is survived by a son, Clinton R. Robinett of California; and a daughter, Jennifer Robinett of South Charleston, W.Va.; four sisters, Rayna Cisneros, Martha Caballini, Mariza Caballini, and Cecilia Rojas Andrade, all of Panama; a brother, Luis Rojas Andrade of Panama; 10 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, at Nitro Church of God with the Rev. Robert VanFossen officiating. Burial will follow in Judson Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their final respects one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
