Peggy Lou Thompson of Louisa
Peggy Lou Thompson, 74, of Louisa, went to be with the Lord and loved ones on Sunday, March 25, 2012, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. She was born Dec. 12, 1937, in Louisa. She was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Bess Hardin Prichard. She was a member of Louisa United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Don Thompson. Surviving are two daughters, Toni (Scott) Jenks of Louisa and Tamara (Willard) Ackley of Stroudsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Robert L. (Doris) Prichard of Independence and Mack (Betty) Prichard of Chehlais, Wash.; five grandchildren, Brett (Shawna) Jenks, Kasey (Jeff) Hegedus, Courtney (Matt) Golden, Lindsey (Nicholas) Pozzessere and Rachel Ackley; and seven great-grandchildren, Kailey, Avery and Parker Jenks, Hannah, Presley and Emory Hegedus and Greyson Golden. Peggy loved her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren, great- grandchildren and special grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Louisa United Methodist Church by the Rev. Guy Moyer and Brother Ric Frazier. Burial followed in Bowe Cemetery in Louisa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Louisa United Methodist Church Building Fund.
