Dorothy Marcum Finley, 91, of Dunlow, WV died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Madison Park in Huntington, WV. Funeral services were conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Fairmount United Baptist Church in Dunlow, WV. Burial followed at Marcum Cemetery. She was born March 11, 1921 in McAndrews, KY, a daughter of the late William Anderson Marcum and Martha Esther Smith Marcum. Dorothy was a homemaker and member of the Turkey Creek Church. Her first husband, Edward Hodge and second husband, Phil Finley also preceded her in death, along with a son, James Hodge; two sisters, Bonnie Marcum and Inis Copley; and four brothers, Glenn, Ernest, Frank and Roy Lee Marcum. Survivors include four daughters, Della Ferrell and husband, Gordon of Random Lake, WI, Gladys Perry and husband, Walter of Louisa, KY, Debbie Carroll and husband, Greg of Louisa, KY, Mary Beckett and husband, Johnny of Dunlow, WV; a son, Charles Hodge and wife, Kristi of Circleville, OH; three sisters, Eunice Copley, Ruth Marcum and Janice Maynard, all of Dunlow, WV; two brothers, Harvey Marcum and wife, Ruby of Cool Ridge, WV, Quitin Marcum and wife, Elizabeth of Cleveland, OH; a daughter-in-law, Carol Hodge of Lake City, TN; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Friends called from 6 to 9 pm Monday at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV and one hour prior to services at the Church.
