Glenna D. Stephens Williams formerly of Wayne

Glenna D. Stephens Williams, 83, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was born April 1, 1930 in Wayne County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late George Menis Stephens and Violet Cyrus Stephens. Her husband Thomas Williams also preceded her in death along with one son, Johnny Menis Napier; grandson Bobby Baker; three brothers, Charley Stephens, Argene Stephens, and Ricky Stephens; three sisters, Beverly Watts, Dianna Lambert, and Delores Parsley; and nephew Jeffrey Stephens. Glenna was a member of World Harvest Church, Columbus, and loved flowers, gardening, and keeping a tidy yard. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Brenda Springer and her husband Robert, Calista Laurick and Scott Bryant, all of Columbus, Oh.; six grandchildren, Johnny Rhinehart and his wife Ann, Christopher Rhinehart and his wife Wendy, Russell Cawthern, Dorenda Knight and her husband Danny, Brian Springer and his wife Christal, and Jay Springer and his wife Kim; and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Weber and her husband Paul of Picherington, Oh., and Joyce Jones and her husband Kenneth of Huntington, W.Va.; seven brothers, Paul Stephens and his wife Edith, Dallas Stephens and his wife Connie, Raymond Stephens and his wife Barbara, Adolphis Stephens and his wife Barbara, Silas Stephens and his wife Dorothy, all of Wayne, Michael Stephens and his wife Donna of Maryville, Oh., and Donald Stephens of Wayne; and nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastors Dallas Stephens and Marty Cougin officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery. Friends called from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
