Helen Bews Johnson Yeoman of Kenova
Helen Bews Johnston Yeoman, 78 of Kenova, WV beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 20, 2012. She was born May 3, 1934 in Paisley, Scotland a daughter of the late Cpt. William B. and Ella McLean Johnston. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by one brother, William Johnston. She was retired and spent her time with the family she loved. She leaves behind her husband, William G. Yeoman; two daughters and their husbands, Susan (Clyde) May and Alison (Jason) Nixon; two sons and their wives, Philip (Lori) Yeoman and Paul (Lisa) Yeoman; her cherished grandchildren, Nikki (Ethan) Huff, Jessica (Shane) Grisham, Jamie (Matt) Coleman, Tiffany (Neil) Miller, Brad May, Anna Adkins, Tyler (Devon) Yeoman, Shane May, Chase May, Madison Nixon, Kyle Yeoman, Joshua Nixon, Sullivan Yeoman, Seth Yeoman, Gabriel Yeoman and Levi Yeoman; her much loved great grandchildren, Jakkson, Peyton, Tucker, Emily, Logan, Wyatt, Solomon, Beckham and Baby Miller who will join the family in early 2013 and one brother, Frank Johnston who resides in the UK. Helen’s family would like to say a special “thank you” to Christy Pancake and Carol Valentine, her caregivers; the Nurses and CNA’s at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice of Huntington. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova, WV with Dr. Gregg Terry officiating. The family received friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rollinsfh.com.
