Grady Colin Kelley of Williamson
Grady Colin Kelley, 68. of Williamson, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Hospital. He was born December 12, 1943 in Fort Gay, W.Va. a son of Mildred Lea Campbell Kelly and the late Grady O. Kelley. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Spears Kelley. Colin was an amazing husband, father, papaw, brother, uncle and son. He was a loyal friend to many. He was an outdoorsman, a retired railroader for 40 years for N&S Railroad. Colin was a former West Virginia legislator, a U.S. Army veteran, and entrepreneur, Democrat of the Year several times and he loved to travel and was an accomplished cook. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Kelly of Fort Gay, W.Va., one daughter, Amanda (Terry) Kelley Jackson of Columbus, Ohio, one son, Grady Colin (Shelley) Kelley of Williamson, W. Va., three sisters; Jean Nash of Mansfield, Ohio, Carol (Richard) Maynard of Fort Gay, W.Va., and Rita (Keith) Spears of Huntington, W.Va., four brothers; Dale (Christine) Kelly of Fort Gay, W.Va., Roger (Lottie) Kelly of Fort Gay, W.Va., Rodney (Tammy) Kelly of Louisa, Ky., Joe (Robin) Kelly of Fort Gay, W.Va., mother-in-law and father-in-law, Barbara and Willie Ray Spears of Fort Gay, W.Va., three grandchildren; Jaylon Jackson, Malia Jackson and Chloe Kelley. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 at Salt Petre Christian Baptist Church, Fort Gay, W.Va. with pastor Richard Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Campbell - Kelly Cemetery.
