Doliver W. “Doc” Queen, 67, of Wayne, WV, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Brother Jimmy Lester. Burial followed at Community Memorial Gardens. He was born November 3, 1944 in Kiahsville, WV, a son of Newman Queen of Wayne, WV, and the late Mary Pack Queen. “D.W.” was a heavy equipment operator for Earp Construction. Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Jean Ferguson Queen; three daughters, Loretta Lynn Queen of Huntington, WV, Shannon Webb and husband, Tony of Proctorville, OH, Meredith Shepard and husband, Keith of Lavalette, WV; four sons, Jody Allen Queen and wife, Vicki of Rocky Gap, VA, Doliver Kelly Queen of South Point, OH, Aaron Douglas Queen of South Point, OH, Michael Ferguson of Huntington, WV; three sisters, Joyce Ann Brown and husband, Jerry of Paducah, KY, Evelyn Adkins and husband, Neil of Wayne, WV, Teresa Sue Queen of Wayne, WV; three brothers, Cletis Queen and wife, Georgetta of Interlachen, FL, Newman Queen, Jr. and wife, Katherine of Calhoun, GA, Cullie Queen and wife, Dina of Lavalette, WV; six grandchildren, Aaron Elijah Queen, Emma Riley Queen, Mary Olivia Kalinoski, Jake Kelley, Shane Staley, Larry Shepard, III; and a host of friends and family.
