Doris Jean Napier Dial of Lavalette

Doris Jean Napier Dial, 82, of Lavalette passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Randy May officiating. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, WV. She was born on September 13, 1930 in East Lynn, WV to the late James P. “Blacksmith Pate” Napier and Dollie Mathis Napier. Doris was a charter member of Wayne Chapter #156 OES and worked for the Wayne County Board of Education first as secretary at Wayne Elementary School and later retired as a secretary at the central office. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband James M. “Mouse” Parsons in 1968, second husband Charles R. Dial in 2003, three brothers Oscar “Whitt”, Allen and Charley Napier, sister Juanita Wantz and a special nephew Ernest James Smith. Surviving is her daughter Pate Parsons Mount and husband Tim of Lavalette two grandchildren: Jeanie Cyrus Wilson and husband Travis of Lavalette and Sarah Mount Faircloth and husband Adam of Honolulu, Hawaii and two great grandchildren Addison Renee Wilson and Kaydence Nicole Faircloth.
