Ray Edward Hall of Huntington
Ray Edward Hall, 83, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV, by Pastor Tim Jayne. Burial will follow at the Christian Cemetery, Fort Gay, WV. He was born October 7, 1929 in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Andrew and Ethel Belcher Hall. He was a self-employed water well drilling contractor and member of the Philadelphia United Baptist Church. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. His wife of 58 years, Bonnie Johnson Hall preceded him in death, along with his brother, Billy C. Hall. Survivors include three daughters, Janeen (Steven) Reynolds of Huntington, WV, Darlene Ray (Marc) Lakin of Cocoa, FL, Naomi (Mike) Dunn of Kenova, WV; six grandchildren Seth (Lisa) Lakin, Luke Lakin, Chris (Kellie) Reynolds, Corey Reynolds, Shane Dunn and Shannon Dunn; two great-grandchildren, Payton and Jaxon Lakin; a sister-in-law, Naomi Hall of Prichard, WV; and a special friend, Gloria “Cricket” McKenzie of Prichard, WV.
