Rev. Samuel Perry of Rensselaer, IN

Rev. Samuel Perry age 76, of Rensselaer, IN passed away Sunday morning, September 30, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 30, 1926 in Wayne County West Virginia the son of Nathan and Wilda (Fields) Perry, both deceased. On November 12, 1957 in Jenny’s Creek, W.Va. he married Pearl Fergusion and she survives. Samuel worked for over 30 years as a tow truck operator for Ford Motor Company and had pastored the Chapel of Liberty Church in Joliet, IL for 20 years. Samuel is survived by his wife Pearl; children, Ricky (Linda) Perry of Lowell, IN, Kathy S Grant of Adolphus, KY, Sam (Jocelyn) Perry JR of Crown Point, IN and Denise “Bonnie” Marshall and Charles Kevin (Judy) Perry both of Rensselaer, IN. 2 brothers; 5 sisters; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, a son-in-law Robert Marshall and a granddaughter Amy Grant. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 3 at 10 a.m. at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God, Wheatfield, IN with Pastor Evanston Risner officiating.
