Paul H. Salmon of Stepptown
Paul H. Salmon, 77 of Stepptown, West Virginia went home to be with the lord on Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 after fighting a long hard battle with cancer. Paul was a member of the Jewel lodge from 1961 to present.
He was born on September 27th, 1935 to the late Alex and Mary Hensley Salmons. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Pat Salmons, one sister Ramaine Dillon, one son Robert Ward, and one granddaughter Courtney Salmons.
He leaves behind in this world his wife of 23 years, Wanda Salyers Salmons, three sons; Paul D. Salmons of Oklahoma, Wendell Salmons and Kristopher Salmons both of Stepptown, West Virginia, six daughters; Kathy (Mike) Little of Oklahoma, Penny (Fred) Howard of Mudlick, Kentucky, Jenny (Denny) Carver of Al Kol, West Virginia, Tammie Neely, Clistie Trivett both of Stepptown, and Debbie (Jonathan) Jude of Lovely, Kentucky. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at the Funeral Home on Friday October 26th at 1 p.m. with Richard Fluty and Rayburn May officiating. Burial followed at the Hensley Family Cemetery in Hode, Kentucky. Arrangements are under the Direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
