Willard Virgil “Willie” Browning of Wayne

Willard Virgil “Willie” Browning, 49, of Wayne, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was born July 30, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio, the beloved son of Virgil and Betty Browning. In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and Robert Miller and Jeannie and Jakie Vaughan; two nephews, Donald Browning and his wife Lilly, and Michael Vaughan and wife Camillia; four nieces, Melissa Aliff, Crystal Vaughan, Samantha Miller and Stephanie Staley. Also surviving are eight great-nephews, Dylan Burnette, Chase Vaughan, Justin Perry, Jarrod Perry, Steven Sergent, Brian Garn, Brandon Schwalback, and Ishmeal Schwalback; two great-nieces, Abigail and Madison Browning; and a host of aunts, uncles and many friends. Willie carried a deep love for Jesus that he used to warm the hearts of everyone he came into contact with. Willie is no longer bound to a wheelchair, but instead he is walking down the streets of gold in heaven. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Perry and Pastor Donald Hager officiating. Burial followed in the Browning Vaughan Cemetery. Friends called two hours prior to the funeral on Sunday.
