Wayne R. Bodamer of Kenova

Wayne R “Bob” Bodamer, 57, of Kenova, WV went home to our Lord Jesus on November 17, 2012. Funeral services were conducted at noon on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova with First Presbyterian minister Dr. James Harless officiating. Burial followed at Ceredo Crescent Hill Cemetery with military services by the Honor Guard of American Legion Post #93 Kenova. Bob is survived by a son, Robert A. “Robby” Bodamer of Richmond, VA; his father, Robert W. Bodamer of South Point, OH; two sisters, Cheryl Sikes of Huntingdon, TN, and Linda Cooper of Atwood, TN; two brothers, Doug Tharp of Humbolt, TN and Glen Tharp of Lavinia, TN. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Elvera Ricci Tharp, three brothers, Scott Casey Bodamer, Russell Tharp, Tim Tharp and one sister, Kim Tharp. Bob was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Kenova always helping others and working around the building. Bob was retired from CSX Railroad and served in the U.S. Marine Crop and was active in American Legion Post #93 Kenova. Bob suffered a stroke in June of 2009 and has been at Pt. of Arbors Nursing Home in Gallipolis, Ohio until passing on to our Lord.
