Arlie Ray Queen of Huntington

Elder Arlie Ray Queen, 79 of Huntington, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Heritage Center in Huntington. Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Elders Johnson Queen and Bruce Finley. Burial followed at Webb Cemetery, Ranger, WV. He was born January 20, 1933 in Harts, WV, a son of the late Willie and Anna Toppings Queen. Arlie was a retired welder for Ensign Electric and was an ordained minister at Echo Baptist Church. Two brothers, Alvis and Floyd Queen also preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Imogene Williamson Queen; a daughter, Teffany Stamper and husband, David of Lavalette, WV; two sons, Darren Ray Queen and wife, Nanette, Benji Aaron Queen and wife, Anna all of Huntington, WV; three foster children, Christina Whitmer and husband, John of Summerset, OH, Bonita Adkins and husband, Todd of Texas, Gary Dale Williamson and wife, Sharlene of Tennessee; four sisters, Jane Anders of Washington Courthouse, OH, Cuba Ross of Alabama, Sara LeMaster of Huntington, WV, Polly Cox of Logan, OH; four brothers, Delbert Queen of Ohio, Sammy Queen of Wayne, WV, Linzie Queen of Harts, WV, Willie Queen, Jr. of Chapmanville, WV; five grandchildren, Drew Stamper, Anna Stamper, Brayden Stamper, Jackson Queen and Jordan Queen; special friends, Bill and Nellie Ferguson, Charlotte Bushnel and Ben Manns and a host of additional family, friends.
