Carl Raymond Eplin Of Huntington
Carl Raymond Eplin, Sr., 74, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at home. He was born March 14, 1937 in Wayne County, W.Va., a son of the late Jakie and Stella Mae Eplin. His daughter, Judy Gaile Eplin also preceded him in death along with two sisters, Rosella Crank and Emma Carter, one brother, Buck Crank, and one grandson, Morris David Byrd III. Carl was a member of Mission of Faith Pentecostal Church in Huntington where John Dennison was his Pastor. He leaves behind his wife Dreama Eplin; four daughters, Dreama Norris and her husband Randall of Lesage, W.Va., Olive Hughes and her husband James of Barboursville, W.Va., Charolette Adkins and her husband Troy also of Lesage, and Billie Marie Smith of Huntington; one son, Carl Eplin II and his wife Kimberly of Huntington; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Christian of Huntington; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of friends and family too numerous to mention. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at Johnson Tiller Funeral Home with Pastor James Burlile officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Wayne.
