Chloe Anna Epling of Wayne
Chloe Anna Epling, 100 years, 11 months and 12 days old of Wayne, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was born January 17, 1911 in Lincoln County, WV, a daughter of the late Jackson and Mary Swiney Watts. She was a homemaker and was a member of Tom’s Creek United Baptist Church, and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Epling; a daughter, Elata Carol Holland, a son-in-law, Donald E. Adkins, and three brothers and nine sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Juanita Adkins of Wayne, WV; her son, Raymond (Sandy) Epling of Lewisburg, WV; two grandchildren, Wes (Kimberly) Holland of Milton, WV and Sarah (Gordon) Burns of Morgantown, WV; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan Avery Holland, Sydney Renae Holland, and Taylor Chase Holland. She was loved and will be missed by many friends and family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV, by Pastors Garland Perry and Jody Thompson. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Morris Funeral Home. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice of Huntington.
