Clarence Mills of East Lynn

Clarence Mills, 85 years and 13 days old went home to be in the arms of Jesus on Friday December 7, 2012 at 11:45 p.m. at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born October 25, 1927 in East Lynn, WV, a son of the late George Washington and Dora Belle Ross Mills. Three brothers, Walter, Glen and Bernard K. Mills, and four sisters, Dorothy Adkins, Delphia Perry, Bessie Beliek and Maxine Mills also preceded him in death. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Nella Fae Sanders Mills; two sons, Clarence Douglas Mills and wife, Ginetta Carroll Mills, and Jerry Allen Mills, all of East Lynn, WV; a daughter, Dora Darlene Wilson and husband, Billy L. Wilson, of Genoa, WV; five grandchildren, Billy L. Wilson, II of Genoa, WV, Stephanie Dawn Thompson and husband, Marvin, Aaron Douglas Mills, Sarah S. Mills, and Jerry Matthew Mills, all of East Lynn, WV; four great-grandchildren, Billy L. Wilson, III, and Elijah Ross Wilson, both of Genoa, WV, Hannah Fae Elizabeth Thompson and Timothy James Thompson, both of East Lynn, WV; a brother, Elmer Mills and wife, Effie Merritt Mills and sister-in-law, Mrs. Bernard (Elizabeth) Mills, all of Ohio. Clarence was a farmer and member of the Beech Fork Chapel Church for over 50 years.
Funeral services were conducted at noon Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV, by Billy Wilson. Burial followed at the Sanders Cemetery at Nestlow, WV.
Friends called from 10:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Many, many thanks to Wayne Nursing and Rehab Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for their loving care.
