Truman Mills of Chandler, AZ

Truman Mills, 91 of Chandler AZ., passed peacefully away on Friday Nov. 30th. Truman can now join his beloved wife Pauline for all of eternity just as they vowed at their wedding 62 years ago. Truman was born in East Lynn, West Virginia in 1921 to Moss and Martha Mills. He was married to his true love Pauline (Polly) until she passed away in February of this year. Truman was raised in Wayne County, West Virginia and lived in Ohio, Kentucky, Iowa, and for the last 12 years in Chandler, AZ. Truman lived a full and enjoyable life as a devoted husband, wonderful father, grand father, and great-grand father. He enjoyed all of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, exploring, farming, and family vacations. He had successful careers with General Electric X-Ray and multiple small businesses in Iowa and Kentucky. He and Polly raised four children; Suzanne King, Richard Mills, Judy Simmonds, and T.J. Mills. They were wonderful grand parents to: Lisa Urban, Ryan Treat, Terri Adler, Christie Mills, Brittany Davis, Matt King, Kari King, Jennifer King, and Alicia Corales. They also loved their nine great-grand children: Emma, Layla, Rebecca, Joshua, Max, Joey, Gabby, Steven, and Leana. Services were held on Saturday, December 15th at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd., Chandler, AZ 85248 with Visitation at 10:00 AM and Funeral Services at 11:00 AM.
