Grace Irene Rowe of Fort Gay

Grace Irene Rowe, 90, of Fort Gay, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at her home. She was born February 16, 1922 in Whitehouse, Ky. a daughter of the late James and Pearl Osborne Lemaster. She was a housewife and a member of Fort Gay Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bill J. Rowe; daughter, Donna Daniels and sister, Edith Copley. Survivors include five daughters, Carol Hughes of Greenup, Ky.; Jane Arbogast of Creston, Ohio; Phyllis Lynch of Haverhill, Ohio; Mary Ellen Artrip of Fort Gay, W.Va.; Lois Ekers also of Fort Gay, W.Va.; three sons, Robert Rowe of Wheelersburg, Ohio; James Rowe of Tomball, TX.; Paul David Rowe of Fort Gay, W.Va.; two brothers, Bural Lemaster of Fort Gay, W.Va.; Oscar Lemaster of Rittman, Ohio; 20 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. The family would like to express a special Thank You to the wonderful careworkers, Christine Evans, Tracy Boyd, Margret Bond and Deborah Gauze. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Copley officiating. Burial will follow at the Rowe Family Cemetery, Fort Gay. Visitation will be 5 til 9 pm.m Saturday at Young Funeral Home.
